Keep In Touch

Your CRM already knows who to call today. It's your $10,000 phone call.

Tool Time — Keep In Touch

Your $10,000 Phone Call

Your CRM already knows who you’re supposed to call today. You just haven’t looked. It’s hiding in your agenda, and it might be the most valuable thing Cloze does.

  1. Open your agenda and find Keep in Touch. First icon, bottom left. Inside is your Keep in Touch, built from people you’ve scheduled, people you’ve talked to, and my favorite, the blast from the past.
  2. Understand the blast from the past. Somebody you haven’t talked to in a while who already likes, knows, and trusts you. You didn’t lose them, life just got in the way. Cloze is tapping you on the shoulder saying: it’s time.
  3. Walk in informed. Before you dial, tap the sparkle button: “Maia, what’s the latest on Chris Johnson?” She reads you the report. Now you’re not calling out of the blue, you’re calling caught-up.
  4. Make it human. “Hey Chris, been a while, how are things?” No pitch, no sell. More often than you’d think, they bring up real estate themselves, because everyone’s favorite question is “how’s the market?”

Cloze told you who. All you have to do is pick up the phone.

Your assignment this week: Pull up your agenda, find your Keep in Touch, and make the call. You never know what comes from it.

Did you know your CRM already knows who you're supposed to call today? You just haven't noticed yet? I'm Kyle and this is Tool Time. Every morning when you open up Close, the first little icon on the bottom left is your agenda.

Did you know that hidden within there is your Keep in Touch? It is the most powerful and coolest thing that Close does. The Keep in Touch comes from a few different places. It comes from people that you have scheduled to talk to, it comes from people that you have talked to before and it comes from my favorite, a blast from the past.

What is a blast from the past? It's somebody you haven't talked to in a while, duh. But it's anybody that Close thinks that you need to talk to today because it's basically tapping you on the shoulder and saying, hey, it's time. This is usually somebody that already likes, knows and trusts you.

You just forgot about them, you know, life got in the way. So it's not that big a deal. All you got to do is pick up the phone. So here's the trick.

You can tap the little sparkle button and say, hey, Maya, what's the latest on Chris Johnson? And Maya will read you a nice little report telling you exactly what's going on. Now you're not just calling out of the blue, you're calling informed. And that makes all the difference because a friend always remembers who you are.

So when you pick up the phone, what do you say? It's easy. Hey, Chris, been a while. How are things?

That's it. No pitch, no sell, just an honest conversation between two human beings. And more often than you'd expect, they're the ones that are going to bring up real estate because everyone's favorite question is, how's the market? Because as we know, life moves and people move with us.

And as you are the real estate professionals that you are, you already know the answer to that question. Well, what are you interested in? So that's it. That's your $10,000 phone call.

Close told you who. All you have to do is pick up the phone. So your assignment, you'll never guess. Pull up your agenda.

Scroll through. Find your keep in touch and pick up the phone and call. You never know what's going to come from it. Thanks so much.

We'll see you next week. Come on.
