Searching for Contacts

Search your whole database by what someone told you, even if you forgot their name.

Tool Time — Searching for Contacts

Find the Buyer You Forgot You Had

You just landed a listing with a pool. You know somebody told you they wanted a pool. You cannot for the life of you remember who. No problem.

  1. Ask Maia in plain English. Tap the sparkle button: “Maia, find me someone who’s looking for a pool.” She searches your entire database and hands you a hot list of every contact who’s after one.
  2. Think about everything you’ve been told. Who’s waiting till spring to list? Who’s looking under 1.5? Who wants Cottonwood? If you wrote it in a note, Maia can find it. Your brain forgot; Cloze didn’t.
  3. Here’s the catch. Maia can only find what you told her. So the habit that makes this work: the second you hang up, smash the sparkle button and say, “Maia, make a note that Kyle Northup is looking for a home in Cottonwood under 1.5 million.” Now it’s there when you need it most.

Your assignment this week: Add one contact, add a note about what they want, then ask Maia to find it for you. You’ll be amazed at what you forgot you knew.

Did you know you can search your entire database based upon what somebody told you, even if you don't remember their name? Hi, I'm Kyle and this is Tool Time. Last week we captured leads on the fly using Maya, and this week we're going to talk about how we can find somebody even if you don't remember their name. Here's the situation.

You just got a listing with a pool, and you know, you know that somebody told you that they wanted a pool, but you just can't remember their name. No problem. All you have to do is hit that sparkle button and say, Maya, find me someone who's looking for a pool, and Maya will search your entire contact database and serve up a hot list of everybody that's currently looking for a pool from your database. But it gets better.

Think about all the things that people have told you that you've forgotten. Which clients are waiting till spring to list? Who's looking for 1.5 million? Who wants to move into Cottonwood?

Or who's looking for a pool? If you wrote it in a note, Maya can find it for you. Now here's the key. Maya can only find something that you've told it.

So after you get off the phone call with that client, smash that sparkle button and say, Maya, make a note that Kyle Northup is looking for a home in Cottonwood under 1.5 million. And Maya will remember it for you and serve it up when you need it most. So your assignment, add one contact and add a note to that contact about what they're looking for or what their listing is or anything at all. And then ask Maya to find it for you.

You'll be amazed at the things that you forgot you knew. Thanks for coming and we'll see you next week.
