Using Maia in CLOZE
Create a contact, add a note, and set a reminder without pressing a second button.
Turn On the Sparkle Button
Maia is the AI built right into Cloze, and she’s ready to do almost everything for you. But first you’ve got to wake her up. Takes about a minute.
- Flip her on. Open the Cloze app. Bottom right, tap the three dots, then Settings. Scroll down to Smart Suggestions, tap in, scroll a little more, and turn on Maia.
- Meet the sparkle button. My favorite button in all of existence. Two ways to use it: press and hold to type, or tap once to talk. Tapping and talking is the move, if you can’t tell.
- Talk to her like an assistant. Tap it and say something like: “Find Jason Watts, add a note that I met him today at two o’clock, and remind me to call him Tuesday at 2 PM.” One breath. She creates the contact, logs the note, sets the reminder.
What used to take two minutes now takes twenty seconds. Once you’ve done it once, you’re not going back.

Today we're going to talk about Maya. Maya is the AI that is built inside of Close and she's ready to help you with literally everything.
But first, you've got to turn her on. So what you're going to do is you're going to open up your Close app, you're going to at the bottom right, you're going to hit those three dots, then you're going to hit settings, you're going to scroll down a little bit until you get to smart suggestions. You're going to hit that heading, scroll just a little bit more, and then you're going to turn on Maya. And then you get my favorite button in all of existence, the Sparkle button.
Here's what you do. You've got two options. You can press and hold it to type or you can tap it once to talk, which is my personal favorite if you can't tell. So we're going to talk to Maya just like you would an assistant.
