Addresses
Almost every client has two addresses. I'll show you how to label them in Cloze so Likely to Sell looks at the house, not the PO box.

Home Is Home, Mailing Is Mailing
I have talked about completing a client about ten times on this show, because it is the most important thing. Today I want to focus on the part that matters most, in my humblest of opinions: the address. Almost everybody has two, a PO box or mailing address and a home address. Right now, in your CRM, the home address should say home and the mailing address should say mailing. That is all you have to do.
- Get into Okta first. A reminder from last week. Call the phone number when it shows up, it is going to be totally fine. If you can log in to access.sir.com, you are in great shape.
- Know why the home address matters. The Home Platform has two incredible features. The first is Likely to Sell, which uses 70 different metrics to find who is likely to sell in the next 12 months. We cannot sell a PO box or a business address, only a house, so the AI needs to be looking at the home address. The second is Make Me Sell, and we will talk about that one more later.
- Put every home in as home. Their second house, their third, their vacation place, the place in Greece, the chateau in France. It does not matter. Put them all in as home.
- Export your MLS sales. Go back as far as you can, then work through the most recent ones first. The guy who sold in Tooele and bought in Sandy gets his address updated. Make sure every past client in Cloze is set up correctly.
- Watch the one-minute video. Scan the QR code and watch me do it. It shows the home address, the secondary address, business, mailing, the chateau in France, whatever you need.
- Fill the gaps. If you do not have a home address for someone, it is a great time to pick up the phone and call. Or use Facebook, TruePeopleSearch, or Forewarn if you want to be cool and creepy about it like me.
You can do this the calm way and start now, or the panic way when everybody gets the Home Platform. We are not like everybody else, we are Sotheby’s International Realty agents. Do it now, a little at a time.
Your assignment this week: Keep up the five or ten contacts a day. Export your MLS, scan the code, watch the video, and make sure every client has a home address, with the home marked home and not the box.

All right, so last week I talked about how you got to get into Okta. I’m just going to remind you, you have to get into Okta. There’ll be a little phone number. Call the phone number. It’s going to be totally fine.
Call the phone number, get into access.sir.com. If you can log in to access.sir.com, you’re in great shape. Today, we’re not talking about that though. Today, we’re talking about addresses. And I’m Kyle, and this is Tool Time.
All right, so as you know, I’ve talked about completing a client like 10 different times on this show because it is the most important thing. hey, I call it a show. I like that. That’s cool. Anyway, I’ve talked about it like 10 different times on this show. So today I’m going to focus on one specific aspect, and it’s the most important aspect in my humblest of opinions.
It is the address. Almost everybody’s got two addresses. You got a PO box or a mailing address, and they have the home address. We want to make sure that within your CRM right now that it is set up as such. So the home address says home, the mailing address says mailing.
It’s that easy. That’s all you got to do. Here’s the cool why. The why you want to do this is because the home platform has two incredible features. Like they are so cool.
The first one is likely to sell. This one uses 70 different metrics to determine who’s likely to sell in the next 12 months. Well, since we can’t sell a P.O. box or a business address, we can only sell a house. We want to make sure that the AI is looking at that home address to make sure that we find those properties that are likely to sell. The second thing that’s super cool is a make me sell.
We’ll talk about that more later, but you want to make sure the home address, even if it the client second third fourth their vacation house their place in Greece that really cool chateau they have in France Doesn matter Put them all in there Put them all in as home Okay You want to make sure you have every single one of them in there There two ways you can do this You can do this the easy calm way and start now, or you can do it the panic way when you all get the home platform like everybody else. But we’re not like everybody else. We’re Sotheby’s International Realty Agents. We’re going to do it the cool, calm, collected, awesome way and do it now a little bit at a time. Remember that whole five contacts a day, 10 contacts a day thing.
We’re still doing that. And that’s what we’re doing this week. So there’s a couple of tricks you can do. What I like to do is export all of my MLS sales from as far back as I can go. And then I go through the most recent ones and make sure I put the guy who sold his house in Tooele, which is a place here in Utah and bought in Sandy.
And I make sure I update their addresses. Okay. So that’s the same thing you’re going to do. At least that’s what I would recommend. You want to make sure that you have every single one of your past clients in the in your platform inside close set up correctly.
There’ll be a nice little QR code you can scan and you can watch me do it. It will be all of a minute. But it’ll show you how to put in at least the home address, the secondary address, business address, mailing address, their Chateau in France, whatever, you can put it all in there. Okay, so that’s the ask this week, you’re going to export your MLS, you’re going to go into close, you’re going to make sure you have a home address for each and every one of your clients. And if you don’t have one, it’s a great time to pick up the phone and call or use Facebook or True People Search or Forewarn if you want to be cool and creepy about it like me.
Alright, so export your MLS, scan the code, watch the video, and do the thing. Make sure you have the home address and not the box as home. That’s it. Hope you have a great week. We’ll see you next time.
Thanks so much.
