Stop Typing, Start Talking
A few of you told me you just do not want to do all that typing. I get it. Cloze already has an answer with Maia, but my real tip is the app I have not stopped using in a year: Wispr Flow. It is voice dictation done right.
- Grab the free words. Scan the QR or use the Try Wispr Flow link below. You get 2,000 words free, which for most of us is two or three hours of talking. That is plenty to feel how good it is.
- Run the setup. The link walks you through the whole install and setup. It takes about a minute.
- Hold and talk. Hold down a couple of keys on your keyboard and just talk, as long as you want. It transcribes everything you say and cleans it up, adds the periods and the commas, the whole thing.
- Make it sound like you. You can customize it and tweak the voice a little depending on how you talk.
